About your performance class.

Hip Hop at RNS is all about the exploration of the various avenues the genre has taken through time. Hip Hop is a dynamic and energetic dance style that originated in street dance culture and continues to evolve through music and movement. It incorporates grooves, rhythm, footwork, and freestyle elements, encouraging dancers to develop their own style while building on the lineage of the style.

This class will break down technical elements working on strengthening the body and technique as you work towards 2 performance choreographed pieces for the RNS Show at the end of the year. Each RNS performance class performs dances and has the opportunity to work with 2-3 different choreographers so that you're building the team while also exploring two different ways to approach the same style.

Level 2: Intermediate. At least 4 consecutive years of dance experience within the last 7 years. Able to pick up choreography, understanding of rhythm and dance patterns, cross floor experience, and sequencing.
