DESIREE WEBB (she,her)

Desiree Webb is the co-owner and artistic director of RNS Dance Inc. She began dancing at age of 3, having taken classes with world class choreographers on the peninsula, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. As a dancer Desiree has danced on stage, for music videos, art concept videos, and photo shoots in a variety of capacities. As a choreographer Desiree has been recognized for both her hip hop and contemporary choreography both on stage and behind the camera. With a passion for teaching, Desiree brings her unique SOUL and love of dance to others through creative choreography and teachings

CALEIGH HUNTER (she,her)

Caleigh Hunter is the co-owner of RNS Dance Inc. She began dancing at age of 6, and has danced in various competitions, videos, photography shoots, live concerts, and shows. Caleigh has been a company member of the Rhythmical Contemporary Company "Broken Rhythms" since 2015, and continues to train and perform with this local company. She has a Bachelor in Sport and Fitness, is a certified fitness trainer, certified yoga instructor, and has her AISTD in Modern and Tap. Caleigh is currently studying her Masters of Art in professional practice of Somatics and Dance. Caleigh uses RHYTHM as a way to communicate to audiences and students, and believes that movement creates empowered communities.

NICOLE BRUCE (she,her)

Nicole began dancing at age 5 at Stages Performing Arts School where she trained, assisted, subbed, volunteered  as well as dancing in their Touring Company. "I have seen first hand how dance has changed peoples lives, not only for the dancers who have gotten to build a family and well-needed support system within it but also for the audience members. I truly believe that dance has shaped the person I am and many of my values today. It has helped me build confidence and has been a positive outlet for me to explore a creative and joyful way of living through moving." Nicole is our community teacher.

CANDACE BRUCE (she/they)

Candace grew up dancing and training in Victoria and Vancouver, before moving to Calgary to dance with the jazz company, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. As a professional dancer, she has worked for companies such as Disney Cruise Line and Netflix, where she was able to gain experience in a broad level of styles and approaches to dance. Currently, Candace is a member of the local rhythmical contemporary company "Broken Rhythms." As a dedicated dancer and teacher, Candace recognizes the importance of being a continuous student. She is a certified personal trainer with a specialization in youth education sciences. In her classrooms, Candace emphasizes creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. By blending her passions of functional strength and movement, Candace is able to create a fun and empowering atmosphere that accommodates everyone.

KAYLEE McCULLOUGH (she,her)

Kaylee has been training in the styles of hip hop, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, ballet, and musical theatre at Allegro Performing Arts Centre, for the past 13 years. As a member of the Peninsula Young Performers, she has travelled and performed in Disneyland and Disneyland’s California Adventure Park multiple times as well as taken workshops with some of Disney’s choreographers. Outside of her studio, she travels to LA to take classes at Millennium Dance Complex and Playground LA. Locally, Kaylee loves to give back to her community, running a dance program at a local middle school. Recently, she was announced as a winner of BBOdance’s online choreographic challenge by Brandon Lawrence in the UK. Choreographing is one of her greatest passions and she plans on pursuing a career in commercial dance using that love and passion as her inspiration.

MARINA FIERZ (she,her)

Marina began dancing at age 7 and studied at Royal Academy of Dance and Pacific Dance Centre, National Ballet School of Canada, and Banff Centre for Performing Arts. Marina is currently completing her Bachelor of Science and works as a full time artist. Marina's artist expression can be found through various mediums including dance, theatre, paint, clay, jewelry. MARISSA FABER (she,her)

Marissa is an established part of the hip hop community in Victoria. Stage and video performances and teaching have kept her busy for 5+ years. Marissa grew up training at Vibestreet Dance in Victoria and has taught with both Vibestreet and Vertical Performing Arts in the last few seasons. Some of the most fulfilling experiences of her life have been watching students light up from the high of just dancing and grooving while classmates cheered for them. She joins RNS and is excited to explore her creativity and connect with other humans through dance!

ALEX BASI (she,her)

Born and raised in Victoria BC, Alex first began tap dancing at the age of 3 and over time continued to add multiple styles to her training such as jazz, ballet, hip hop, sass, bhangra, ballroom and contemporary. Over the years Alex has had the opportunity to train and teach at Janice Tooby MacDonald’s dance studio, Boston Dance Collective and Arthur Murray along with schools such as Spectrum, Colquitz, Oak Bay and Reynolds. She was a performer in “Magic & Miracles” across Canada and continues to take part in music videos and live shows. It’s never easy to pick a favourite style when you love dance so much but her top three are Tap, Street Sass and Hip Hop. Alex’s most memorable moment was travelling to LA to take dance classes with multiple choreographers at different studios, her favourites being Millenium and Playground, and plans to do so again once the world opens up!

ALEX FONTAINE (she,her)

Alex began dancing at age 5 and choreographing at 15. Alex has worked on stage, video, and in companies. After many years dancing and performing in Vancouver Alex has made her way to Victoria! Outside of dance, Alex is currently in school for Registered Massage Therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC, with a goal to work with dancers and encourage the health and well-being of our bodies for such a physically demanding art!
